From Toronto take highway 401 east and exit at Highway 35/115 exit. Exit number 436 and follow highway 115 north to the exit at County Road 28. Approximately 20 minutes north of 401.
From Kingston take highway 401 west and exit either County Rd 28 north at Port Hope( 20 minutes north ) or proceed to the next exit which is highway 115.
From the north and west follow highway 7 east of Lindsay to Fowler’s Corners exit the ramp south that is County Road 28 and follow it 15km straight south.
From the east follow highway 7 bypass Peterborough and look for the exit 45 on 115 which is the Port Hope exit – this is where highway 115 intersects with County road 28 and we are located approximately 2 km south of this exit.

It was confirmed that no employees had been laid off since Shorelines Slots returned after a several-week hiatus. During the period of uncertainty whether or not the gaming venue would commence operation once again, some people decided it would be best if they file their resignation. Around 130 employees were offered the opportunity to file in their application for a corresponding position at Shorelines Casino in Peterborough which welcomed its first casino patrons on October 15.
In the days before it relaunched operation on December 19, Shorelines Slots hired several new workers to fill in the gaps. This is how the venue ended up with about 70 people taking care of the slot devices available on site, in addition to some 30 people overseeing the food and beverage offerings at the venue. Great Canadian Gaming Corporation is the casino operator overseeing the management at both locations wants to ensure employees do not feel neglected as a result.
It could be recalled that part of the slot devices available at Shorelines Slots was transferred to the casino venue shortly before it launched operation. Before the changes, there was a total of 400 machines working at the venue, but the Ontario government and Kawartha Downs management had the final say when it comes to the racetrack future.New Contracts for 50 Workers on Site

Always use the right driver for the screw head you are working on. I know some of these look the same (can you tell the difference between a Pozidriv and a Phillips from 10 feet away?) but they are not – and you risk damaging the screw and ending up taking a lot of time to extract it if it gets damaged.

Slotted
This is the original screw drive. You find these everywhere, though the practice of using screws with slotted drives is on the decline because the screwdriver slips out of the slot, particularly when you are applying heavy torque to really tighten down (or loosen, for that matter) these types of screws.

This screw drive type is very popular – and again, you find them in a very wide range of applications. Common sizes are Phillips #1, #2 and #3. The most common Phillips size is #2.

Phillips Tamper-resistant
Not very common, but when you need one, you need one. Same shape and sizing as Phillips, but the screw includes a tamper-resistant pin in the middle. This screw is not used in high torque applications as the design is not very strong and the bits cannot be manufactured to high strength specifications.

Quadrex
A combined Phillips and square recess drive.

Pozidriv®
This screw head isn’t seen very often in the U.S.A., though it is very common in Europe. It looks a lot like a Phillips screw head, but it includes 4 more contact points. Common sizes are Pozidriv #1, #2 and #3.

Square Recess
Square recess is being used more and more as they are very resistant to cam-out, which is a fancy way of saying the tip of the tool does not slip out and mar the screw head very easily. Commonly found in two sizes: Square #2 and #3.

Same design and sizing as square recess, but includes a centered tamper-resistant pin.

TORX®
TORX, the funny looking screw drive. Well, you see them in a lot of electronics here in the US, and they are gaining ground in a variety of their applications. They range in size from T5 through T55 in 1/4″ insert bits and power drive bits.

Tamper-resistant TORX has a small post in the middle of the drive that prevents a regular TORX driver from working.

TORX Plus
TORX Plus is an enhanced TORX design that allows more contact area between the driver and the screw head allowing more torque to be applied, even at high driving speeds. This is a fairly new design.

Tamper-resistant TORX Plus
Tamper-resistant TORX Plus is a licensed design, only available after the purchaser has completed paperwork indicating their authorization to purchase these bits. This design is used extensively in correctional facilities and in other high-security applications. Like nails, screws are (usually) small pieces of hardware used to hold materials together. One of the main differences is that screws are designed to be able to be removed and replaced easily without damage to the screw itself or the material it connects. Most screws are made from some type of metal, and many are covered in a rustproof coating. Aside from material, screws differ in head shape, head type, threading and purpose.
Machine screws are designed to hold pieces of machinery together. Most machine screws require that the hole already be drilled and threaded, although there are a few types of machine screws capable of tapping their own holes. Like other screws, machine screws are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. Pan head machine screws are machine screws with heads that are flat on top and rounded on the sides. They’re similar to oval head machine screws, which also have rounded sides; the difference is that oval head screws have a rounded top, too, as opposed to a flat top, and they have tapered bases. Both are commonly used for metal applications. Pan head machine screws can also be differentiated from flat head screws, which have flat tops, as well. However, flat head screws are tapered on the underside of the head so they can lie flush with the material they’re driven into. Meanwhile, round head screws have flat bottoms with rounded heads, much like half a sphere. Round head screws can’t sit flush with the material they’re driven into; instead, their heads poke out like little bumps.

Recently Q Lotus Holdings Inc (QLTS) has been seeing a nice upward trend in the share price rising from $.017/share on January 11, 2013 to $.1075/share as of the last close on Friday, January 18, 2013.
What significant event has caused the share price to increase by over 600% in such a short time?
On December 27, 2012 an SC13G and Form 3 was filed by Joshua Goldstein announcing that he had obtained control of 1,500,000 shares of QLTS stock on December 10, 2012 for $.01/share and an additional 10,000,000 shares of QLTS stock on December 21, 2012 for $.01/share.
Those filings were followed by a Form 4 filed on January 4, 2013 announcing that Joshua Goldstein had obtained an addition 2,200,000 shares of QLTS stock at a price of $.01/share.
That was followed by another Form 4 filing on January 8, 2013 announcing that Joshua Goldstein had obtained an additional 3,800,000 shares of QLTS stock at a price of $.01/share.
The 4 separate share issuances were summarized together in an amended SC13 filing done on January 10, 2013. All total, as of the last report, Joshua Goldstein now owns 17,500,000 shares of QLTS stock (which represents 22.36% of the outstanding share count).
Joshua T. Goldstein is basically a Real Estate tycoon of sorts from the New York area. Together with a couple of his family members, Sheldon Goldstein and Jeffrey Goldstein, Joshua runs an entity called The Lynmark Group and another organization called Zemi Beach. They engage in the development of large apartment complexes as well as other large Real Estate projects like commercial buildings and shopping malls. They are also involved on some scale in the banking industry and are very actively involved in political contributions.
How or why did Joshua T. Goldstein obtain those 17,500,000 currently worth $1,881,250 as of the last close?
If you are thinking that some big Real Estate hot shot is buying up QLTS stock on the open market because he sees QLTS as a great investment or because he is preparing to merge some big Real Estate venture into the QLTS shell - Stop. That is most certainly not the case.
Back in February of 2011, Joshua T. Goldstein issued the QLTS shell a $200,000 Promissory Note through his entity, Southshore Real Estate Development, LLC. In May of 2011, the Note was increased to $300,000. In June of 2011, the Note was increased to $425,000. In September of 2011, the Note was increased to $544,000. Finally, in January of 2012, the Note was re-drafted to include the interest owed for a total of $582,107. This new $582,107 debt Note had a due date of December 15, 2012. If the Note wasn’t paid back by December 15, 2012, it became a convertible debt Note which could be converted into QLTS stock at $.01/share.
December 15, 2012 came and went and the Note remained unpaid. Joshua T. Goldstein came calling on that Note and has started collecting his debt back in shares at a price of $.01/share.
At $.01/share, that $582,107 debt Note can convert into 58,210,700 shares of QLTS stock. Since Joshua T. Goldstein has only collected 17,500,000 to date, that means that he has at least another 40,710,700 shares coming.
Debt, Debt, and more Debt
The $582,107 Joshua T. Goldstein Note is not the only outstanding debt Note on the QLTS books. All total QLTS had $2,212,607 in debt Notes as of September 30, 2012 (see chart below) and that isn’t even included the interest due on the Notes or the convertible debt Notes owed to Toxic Financier - Asher Enterprises (Curt Kramer).
The $250,000 Bellcourt Note is currently in default.
The $192,500 Husain Note is currently in default.
The $150,000 Urso Note is currently in default.
The $230,000 Powers Note is currently in default.
The $228,000 MBC LLC Note is currently in default.

Prior to taking over as the quarterback of the QLTS shell, Gary A Rosenberg (who is a Real Estate entrepreneur of his own through his company Urban R2) held a position on the auditing committee for National Holdings Corporation (NHLD) from 2002 - July of 2008. SEC filings show that Rosenberg also held a position as a Director of the NHLD shell starting in 1999 until 2004 while the shell conducted business under the name Olympic Cascade Financial Corporation.
Rosenberg’s background with NHLD might inject some hope that he can help pull QLTS out of its ugly hole of debt into a revenue producing venture, until Rosenberg’s personal financial history is revealed. In February 2004, Gary A. Rosenberg filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy protection unable to manage his own personal debts.

QLTS has put out many 8K filings and press releases announcing agreements and other forward looking investment opportunities, but 8Ks and press releases mean nothing until something of real substance shows up on the QLTS balance sheet. See the QLTS website here.

As of the last 10Q, QLTS has no Real Estate, no Mining properties, no revenue producing financial business ventures listed on the balance sheet. QLTS does claim to have a revenue sharing agreement in place for some mining claims, but does not list any further information about those mining claims and does not include those mining claims as assets because they say no monetary value was given up for the acquisition of those claims. ’Currently, our business consists solely of holding mineral rights in a portfolio of minerals and our activities to date have been limited to formation of the legal and business structure, business planning, the pursuit of capital and the exploration of possible acquisitions and investments.’
’The Company holds mining rights of properties located in Utah, Arizona and Oregon. As consideration for the mining rights, the Company entered into a Revenue Sharing Agreement that would provide the transferors with a percentage of the net revenue realized from the sale of minerals that have been extracted and mined from each respective claim. In valuing such consideration (rights to receive fees in the future) the Company considered many factors in determining an appropriate fair value of the consideration/rights. Bottom Line
The bottom line is that QLTS is company whose business operations are headed in the wrong direction. The shell borrowed well over $2 million to pay for the salaries and perks for the company insiders and to cover the operation expenses of the shell. The problem is that all that borrowed money translated into no revenues and now QLTS is cash poor meaning the only way they can continue to afford future salaries, perks, and operation expenses is by borrowing more money. As old debts go into default the only way to pay them back will be to issue discounted free trading shares of stock which will cause the QLTS share price to drop. The lower the share price drops the more shares it will take to pay off future debt Note conversions. QLTS is now trapped in a debt/dilution death cycle.Q Lotus Holdings Inc
The death cycle means huge losses in the future for long term QLTS shareholders, but it can sometimes mean short term gains for stock flippers. Debt Note holders will want to get their shares as cheap as possible, but they will also want to sell their shares for as big of a profit as is possible. That has a lot to do with the current price action for QLTS. We know that Joshua Goldstein was just issued 17,500,000 QLTS shares because he reported his share ownership. What we don’t know is what other debt Note holders may have also recently been issued free trading stock to pay off a portion of those old defunct debt Notes.
QLTS could turn into a very volatile stock over the next few weeks and months as debt Note holders play the pump&dump game with retail investors. The game has already begun. Who is Ray Goldenchild?
Some parents may know him from his work in Vancouver as a youth soccer coach and managing director of Orix Sports Management.

After the media coverage Goldenchild received over the weekend, he is now more widely known as the guy who was mistakenly identified by a media outlet as attending an anti-SOGI event.
To say the least, he’s not pleased.
And for the record: “I’m not anti-SOGI,” he said by telephone Monday.
Before I get to more of his comments, some background:
Goldenchild is the newly elected secretary of the Non-Partisan Association, the same party that city councillor Rebecca Bligh resigned from last Friday over concerns the party had an affiliation with the anti-SOGI movement.
What is SOGI?
It stands for sexual orientation and gender identity. It’s a term often associated with school curriculum. Its main tenet is inclusion of LGBTQ students.
Which is a word Bligh used several times when we talked Monday.
“I stand for inclusion — no matter what, and there’s no debate around it,” she said in re-telling one of her main reasons for leaving the party.
“It’s a matter of personal integrity for me and my family values. I’m a queer woman. My own lifestyle, my own identity feels called into question.”
When Bligh announced her resignation on Facebook, she didn’t name names. But some of the media reporting about Bligh’s resignation tied Goldenchild to one of her reasons for leaving the party.
The link was made after a media outlet incorrectly identified Goldenchild, who is black, with another black man at an anti-SOGI event. That outlet’s reporting was also cited in other media stories, including a Courier story.
“I feel for him,” Bligh said. “In fact it’s happened to me, and it’s not a good experience. So I sympathize with him in this situation. However, that had nothing to do with me, nothing to do with my decision.”
At the same time, Bligh noted that Goldenchild ran for park board in 2018 with Vancouver First, whose mayoral candidate Fred Harding posted a video on YouTube saying “with SOGI, they got it all wrong. Vancouver First is opposed to its high-handed rollout.”Npa Sports Coaching Training
So why didn’t Goldenchild resign after those comments were made?
“Very good question,” he said. “Fred was the head of the party, not me. I ran for park board. People weren’t happy. People in the group pushed back, but you do it in-house. I don’t know how much of it he retracted, but he definitely did go back on camera and retract some of the stuff that he said.”
If Bligh and others thought those comments were a problem, he continued, then why did the NPA allow school trustee candidate Chris Qiu to run in the 2018 election when her name was tied to an anti-SOGI group.
Qiu was endorsed by the Canadian Council for Faith and Family, which has hosted anti-SOGI events. At the time, the NPA said it was unclear how Qiu ended up on the list of endorsed candidates.
Goldenchild said he can’t believe he’s having to answer questions about whether he supports the inclusion of the LGBTQ community in schools. In fact, he called it an offensive question.
When he decided to run in 2018 for a spot on the park board, he said his prime focus was supporting youth sports and sorting out field allocation for soccer organizations.
It still is, he said.
As he tells it, he joined the NPA in the fall, made a speech at the party’s AGM and was elected secretary. There’s nothing more to it than that, he said of his motivation to leave Vancouver First, describing the party as “a thumbnail” with little chance of being elected.
In reading Bligh’s Facebook statement and speaking to her Monday, her reasons for leaving the party centred on her belief the NPA was shifting to the far right of the political spectrum.
She pointed to “the newly elected executive” in her statement.
Goldenchild’s response: “Complete nonsense. Did she actually talk to anybody? No. Labelling me far-right? That’s comedy.”
In explaining that shift, Bligh pointed Monday to new board member Christopher Wilson, a former bureau chief of the far-right Rebel Media founded by Ezra Levant.
He is the same guy who called former federal environment minister Catherine McKenna “Climate Barbie.” Misogynistic is the term Bligh used to describe Wilson’s comment.
Wilson is now in charge of fundraising for the NPA.
She then pointed to newly elected NPA board treasurer Phyllis Tang, who has or had an affiliation with the anti-SOGI movement.
Tang ran unsuccessfully for city council in the 2018 election with Yes Vancouver, an NPA splinter party. Bligh said Tang was photographed at a post-election party with “others who have gone on the record as anti-SOGI.”
In addition, Bligh said, an organization called the “Let’s Vote Association” endorsed Tang and Goldenchild. One of the purposes of the association is to voice Canadians’ concerns about “traditional family values,” according to its website.Sqa Npa Sports Coaching
What “traditional family values” means, I don’t know.
I tried unsuccessfully Monday to speak to Tang, calling her several times during the day. I was unable to leave a message because her inbox was full.
Goldenchild said he had never met anyone from the “Let’s Vote Association,” and didn’t know why he received their support when he ran for park board in 2018 with Vancouver First.
His new finding Monday about the association: “They’re not actually anti-SOGI. It’s another group that endorsed them that’s anti-SOGI. I think they’re called ‘Let’s go’ or ‘Go get the vote’ or something like that. Can you believe that?”
Goldenchild said he would have expected Bligh to speak to him, if she had any concerns about the party’s board or executive; the executive includes Tang, Goldenchild and president David Mawhinney, who could also not be reached for comment Monday.
Mawhinney, however, did release a statement last Friday stating, in part, “there is no evidence that either our secretary Ray Goldenchild, or our treasurer Phyllis Tang have ever made any anti-SOGI statements.”
Bligh’s statement about her resignation infers the whole executive is anti-SOGI, Goldenchild said, adding that he deserves an apology from the councillor.Npa Sports Coaching Positions
“It’s really, really dangerous to put that stuff out there,” he said. “Nobody’s reached out to me, nobody’s apologized.”
Some of the other new board members include Ryan Warawa, the president of the B.C. Conservative Party, and former ProVancouver mayoral candidate David Chen.
Meanwhile, Bligh still has the support of her NPA caucus, which issued a lengthy news release last Friday stating its support for SOGI and “longstanding support for inclusion and diversity in Vancouver.”

“I am certainly hearing their support loud and clear, but they are also in a tough spot right now,” she said of the 15-member board, which includes the three-member executive.
Bligh now serves as an independent and leaves the NPA with four representatives on council. The rest of council is comprised of three Green councillors, one COPE and one OneCity. Mayor Kennedy Stewart, a former longtime NDP MP, is also an independent.
No other party has reached out to Bligh about her joining them, she said, adding that she’s focused on the year ahead and hasn’t considered whether she’ll seek re-election in 2022.
